The open-plan living area is a haven of sophistication, featuring a plush king-sized bed, a sumptuous sofa, an intimate dining space at the kitchen island, a flat-screen TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Underfloor heating throughout ensures an ambient warmth, keeping you cozy at all times. The beautifully appointed ensuite shower room offers an additional touch of luxury.

Nestled within the peaceful confines of our working farm just outside Galston, The Bothy offers the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience, with local shops just a short drive away.

Step outside to your private haven, where the hot tub remains invitingly warm, a pool table awaits your challenge, and a small bar area offers the perfect setting for a quiet drink. The outdoor area is tastefully designed for relaxation, offering a serene escape from the demands of everyday life—rain or shine.

Inside, the lodge’s underfloor heating keeps things toasty, and the kitchen is fully equipped with premium appliances, including an induction hob, oven, air fryer, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, ensuring a seamless stay. The king-sized bed boasts a luxurious mattress and crisp Egyptian cotton linens, promising you the most restful night’s sleep.

The spacious shower room includes a heated towel rail, perfect for drying swimwear after a soothing soak in the hot tub.

Strictly no fires or BBQs allowed.
Additional guests may only be allowed with prior approval.
Dogs are welcome for an additional fee of £20 per dog, per night. We ask that dogs do not go on the furniture or into the hot tub. Please bring your own dog bed and food. Kindly note that the outdoor area is not fully enclosed, and livestock surround the property.
For those traveling from further afield, Glasgow city center, Glasgow Airport, and Prestwick Airport are all approximately 30 minutes away. The stunning Troon Beach is a 20-minute drive, while Mauchline is just 15 minutes from your doorstep.

EXTRAS: We have a range of extra services we can add to your booking such as extra towels a treat for someones birthday or breakfast pack. These can be ordered on the guest portal once you have booked your stay.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT: A Security Deposit of £200 must be paid prior to your stay, This is fully refundable assuming the proprty is left in good order.

Please be aware that The Bothy is located on a working farm, so while you’ll enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, you may hear the sounds of farm machinery and animals during your stay. We kindly ask that you respect our neighbors' privacy.

The farm track leading to The Bothy is a farm track. While we maintain the track diligently, please be aware that there may be occasional potholes—adding to the authentic countryside experience.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. The hot tub, underfloor heating, and hot water are all powered by renewable biomass energy, which also heats the farm’s water. We take great care in laundering our bedding and towels using 100% renewable energy, ensuring both quality and sustainability. Throughout The Bothy, we’ve used recycled and sustainably sourced materials wherever possible to minimize its environmental impact.

The total size of the lodge is 40m², offering ample space to unwind and rejuvenate in style.
